Fengmu Deer Farm

Location: Tunchang

Built in 1963, Fengmu Deer Farm is the biggest farm of this kind in China. It is located in the southeast of Tunchang County, 27 kilometers from Tunchang Town. It is constructed on a small peninsula by a small lake. There are over 700 deer raised in the farm and classified into different groups namely David’s Deer, Eld’s Deer, Red Deer, Sika Deer or Spotted Deer. For some docile deer, visitors may take picture with them.

Over 40 years’ breeding experience, the farm can produce more than 30 kinds of deer products such as: deer wine, deer tonic, deer medicine and venison. In 1997, this farm was rewarded as National Excellent Demonstration Farm. With luxuriant greenery, the farm offers perfect environment for deer breeding.
