Temple Matsu, the patron saint for navigation industry, is consecrated here. Initially it was built up in A.D. 1893 (and thus it has a history of more than one hundred years) as a hospice to consecrate Can Jie, initiator of Chinese characters.
Local characteristic delicacies include lobster, shrimp, crab, red snapper, mackerel, squid, carp and conch etc. anything you can imagine, all can be found on Wuzhizhou Island.
Transportation--Cruiser Schedule in Sanya Wuzhizhou Island
Working hours of local ferry: 7:40 AM---16:00 PM, one voyage every 20 Minutes; departure anytime upon arrival of a tourist team; last voyage departs at 18:00 PM. Please arrange your schedule in accord with such working hours.
